Please join us in fighting rare blood cancers! Cush it to the Limit supports research into T-cell lymphoma, a rare, aggressive, and under funded blood cancer. Our goal is to provide improved treatment options for this deadly disease and bring hope to T-cell lymphoma patients and their families. Description

Imagine being a young adult with a cancer diagnosis for which there is no known cure. 19-year-old T-cell lymphoma (TCL) patient, Ben "Big Cat" Cushing and friends founded Cush it to the Limit (CITTL) in 2017 to advance research into rare blood cancers. Ben and friends knew their efforts would not effect his outcome, but they wanted to bring hope to others who might one day be in his same situation. Ben lost his 9-month battle to an aggressive strain of TCL, but we continue his mission to accelerate treatment options and ultimately to find a cure for T-Cell Lymphoma.

Donations are applied to...

Cush it to the Limit is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) partnering with UW Medicine, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and other research entities to fund cutting edge research into T-cell lymphoma. Our organization has funded experiments to rule out infectious causes for a particularly rare TCL, Hepatosplenic T-Cell Lymphoma (HSTCL), and is currently focused is on funding genetic research with the goal of someday affecting tumor behavior in TCL patients. We could not continue this groundbreaking work without the support of our community.

Why are donations necessary?

Philanthropy is vitally important for rare, aggressive blood cancers like T-cell lymphoma. Pharmaceuticals, research institutions, and national grant programs tend to focus on cancers with higher rates of occurrence. Therefore, grass roots fundraising is critical to improved outcomes for patients with TCL. Your support can make all the difference in the lives of TCL patients and their loved ones.
